The Community
Unfinished Community isn't what you might call a "traditional" church. Our church building is in Japan, our leadership team has people in Boston, New Jersey, Michigan, Tokyo, and Kobe, and our members are all around the world. What brings us together as a community is our shared love of God, and our shared desire to make the world a better place by loving our neighbors around the world, and standing up to injustice, oppression, and hatred wherever we find it.
Also an almost ridiculous level of technology.
As a church which began online, we prioritize being a community that is both physical and digital at the same time. We are constantly talking on our Discord server; an online space for our community where we can exchange posts and messages, join with each other in voice and video calls, share funny memes and stories and, of course, talk and learn together as we navigate all the insane and confusing things that life throws at us. This is where our community started, and where our heart still is!
